Maak de officiële release-avond mee van 𝗜 𝗔𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿, het langverwachte conceptalbum van de Nederlandse jazzartiest Fee Aaij en haar 4tet! Het album verschijnt een dag eerder (16 mei) bij ZenneZ Records. De afgelopen jaren heeft Fee dit concept al zowel met band als solo uitgevoerd op bijzondere locaties zoals De Roode Bioscoop in Amsterdam en Théâtre de l’Île Saint-Louis in Parijs.
I Am The Joker brengt 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗷𝗮𝘇𝘇 tot leven in de gedaante van een krachtig maar kwetsbaar personage: The Joker. De muziek put inspiratie uit de creativiteit van David Bowie, de energie van McCoy Tyner, de melancholie van Frédéric Chopin en de eigenzinnigheid van Thelonious Monk. Maar bovenal is het het donkere en meeslepende spel van de muzikanten die dit optreden je hart zal grijpen - en niet meer loslaat.

Join the official release night of 𝗜 𝗔𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿’, the long awaited conceptual album by Dutch jazz artist Fee Aaij and her 4tet releasing the day before (16th of May) on ZenneZ Records! The last couple of years Fee has already performed this concept with band as well as solo at unique venues such as De Roode Bioscoop Amsterdam and Théâtre de l’Ile Saint-Louis Paris.
‘I Am The Joker’ presents 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗷𝗮𝘇𝘇 in the shape of a strong but fragile character called The Joker. The music draws life from the creativity of David Bowie, the energy of McCoy Tyner, the sadness of Frederic Chopin and the quirkiness of Thelonious Monk. However, it is the dark and moody aesthetic of the players that will most definitely make this show grab your heart and squeeze it.
